Service · SDW-SVC-CONFIG

Your Peplink arrives configured, tested, and enrolled — not in a shrink-wrapped box.

Add this to any router order. A U.S. network engineer configures the unit to your network, bench-tests it on live SIMs, and enrolls it in your InControl2 organization before it ships. Power it on at the site and it joins the network.

Every unit is tested on a live connection before it ships — carrier attach confirmed, throughput measured, failover forced.

What it covers

  • Firmware — brought to the release we run in production
  • WAN & failover — priorities and failover policy set to your rules
  • SSIDs, VLANs, DHCP — to your naming convention
  • SpeedFusion — profile built and peered to your hub
  • InControl2 — enrolled with your groups and tags
  • SIM & APN — carrier settings applied and verified live
  • Bench test — SIMs in, carrier attach confirmed, throughput measured, failover forced
  • Config record — one page, in the box and in your inbox

How it works

Order to on-air in four steps

  1. 01

    Order it with your routers

Add one service per device. Router-plus-service orders are picked to the config bench, not the shipping shelf.

  2. 02

    Fill the intake form

Five fields after checkout. No answers yet? Describe the deployment and an engineer proposes the configuration.

  3. 03

    We build and bench-test

Firmware, WAN policy, SSIDs, SpeedFusion, InControl2 — then a live test with your SIMs: attach, throughput, forced failover.

  4. 04

It ships ready to power on

One to two business days. Config record in the box. On site, plug it in — it checks into InControl2 on its own.

Router-plus-SIM orders placed before 12:00 pm CT are activated and tested first.

What we need from you

One short intake form after checkout. Five fields — if you don't have them yet, an engineer will propose them from your deployment description.

  1. 01 Site name — how the unit should appear in InControl2
  2. 02 WAN plan — which links, in what priority, with what failover rules
  3. 03 SSID & VLAN list — names, VLAN IDs, DHCP scopes
  4. 04 InControl2 organization — org, group, and tags to enroll under
  5. 05 SIM & carrier details — carriers, APNs, whether we insert your SIMs or ours

In the box

A one-page configuration record

Printed in the box and emailed to you: firmware version, WAN priorities, SSIDs and VLANs, SpeedFusion peer, InControl2 group, and the bench-test results for that serial number.

SERIAL 2934-ABCD-7F21
FW 8.5.1 (production)
WAN1 Starlink · priority 1
WAN2 AT&T LTE · failover
ATTACH confirmed · 142 Mbps down
FAILOVER forced · 2.1 s recovery

Before you order

How much does this add to lead time?

Configured units ship in one to two business days rather than the next business day, because the unit goes on the bench before it goes in the box. Router-plus-SIM orders placed before 12:00 pm CT are activated and tested first.

What if I don't know my WAN plan or VLANs yet?

Skip those fields and describe the deployment instead — an engineer will propose a configuration and confirm it with you by email before the unit goes on the bench.

Is the unit registered to you or to me?

To you. The device is enrolled in your InControl2 organization under your groups and tags — not pre-registered to ours. You have full admin from the moment it ships.

Can I cancel or return the service?

Refundable any time before configuration work begins. Once the unit is on the bench it is non-refundable, since the work is already done. Hardware return terms are unchanged.

Deploying twenty or more sites?

There's a volume rate, and we answer with a configuration — not a quote form. We'll open the form with the service already filled in.
